Brian C. White, CPA
Brian White is a Certified Public Accountant and is a licensed CPA in Connecticut, New York and Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Prior to joining Nanavaty, Davenport, Studley & White in 2020, Brian was a partner in Studley, White and Associates P.C. specializing in Not-For-Profit accounting, auditing and consulting. Brian Also worked for Pepsi Cola Bottling Group, Pepsico, Texas Gulf Sulfur and Price Waterhouse.
Brian has been a member of the Newtown Savings Bank Board of Directors since 2006, and is currently serves as the Chairperson of the Investment Committee, a member of the Newtown Savings Bank Audit Committee, Enterprise Risk Management Committee and past Chair of the Director Loan Committee. Brian is currently the Treasurer of the Heritage Preservation Trust of Newtown and served as the Vice Chairman of the Danbury Hospital and on the Board of Directors of Western Connecticut Medical Group, Board of Directors of the Western Connecticut Health Network, where he was Chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Finance Committee. Brian has served on Newtown Legislative Council, the Fairfield Hills Committee and the Hattertown Historic District. He is the former treasurer of Connecticut Women’s Lacrosse Officiating Association and college lacrosse referee.
Brian attended Georgetown University and received a BSBA , Accounting, a Master of Science – Finance from Fairfield University and a Master of Science- Taxation from the University of New Haven. Brian and his wife Susan have lived in Newtown for 35 years.
