Robert M. Davenport, a Certified Public Accountant and an Senior Partner at our firm, specializes in Entity Taxation. Prior to joining us, Bob held the role of Vice President and Treasurer at American Bailey Corporation, a Management, Acquisition, and Venture Capital firm. His extensive background also includes nine years as a Senior Tax Manager with the renowned international accounting firm, Ernst & Young, LLP. Throughout his career, Bob has been dedicated to addressing the tax and financial needs of entrepreneurial companies and their owners.

Bob's educational journey is impressive, with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, Accounting, and a Master of Accountancy with an emphasis in Taxation from the University of South Carolina. His commitment to excellence is further showcased by being a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Connecticut.

Beyond his role as a CPA, Bob is a proud member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Newtown Chamber of Commerce, and St. Rose of Lima Church Finance Council. His past roles include serving as Treasurer for various organizations like Newtown Memorial Fund, Newtown Nighthawks Football Association, Newtown Youth Football & Cheer Association, Newtown Youth Services, Inc., and Newtown Youth Baseball Association.
